Cemintel™ has added two new walling products to their comprehensive range of building products, offering the industry greater choice of materials, all backed by strong technical support.

Cemintel has evolved from a traditional building materials manufacturer into a creative hub of premium lightweight building products backed by design and technical support, extensive research and a manufactured-for-life guarantee that gives architects, builders, designers and homeowners the freedom to choose.

Observing that Cemintel is bringing several benefits to the architectural and building industry, Marketing Manager Ben Thompson explains that the company aims to simplify the process for architects, designers, builders, specifiers and homeowners by offering a depth of product choice, incorporating a range of colours, textures and finishes, and backed by a comprehensive design and technical service.

The latest products to join the Cemintel portfolio include Cemintel Aspect Cladding and Cemintel Mosaic. Both products are lightweight, low maintenance panels featuring a stylish, yet understated appearance and enhancing a range of designs.

Cemintel Aspect Cladding

The 300mm wide Aspect Cladding is complemented by a 16mm horizontal ship lapped joint providing a modern aesthetic that would look great on a range of home designs. Key benefits include fibre cement construction preventing rot, burn, corrosion or permanent water damage; acrylic sealed panels reducing painting time and costs on site; resistance to shrinking, swelling and cracking, holding paint longer than some timber; 4.2m lengths for wide coverage; and easy installation with face-fixing using a nail gun.

Cemintel Mosaic

Impressive in appearance, Cemintel Mosaic combines a modern, geometric expressed joint aesthetic with the ease of installation of an advanced lightweight fibre cement panel and batten system, making it the ideal facade for any home or building. Key benefits include flat, smooth surface accepting different decorative finishes; choice of brad nails for minimal visible fixings, or a counter sink screw option resulting in a total flush appearance; pre-sealed edges with a black pigmented sealer, combined with a black gasket tape at joints for superior joint aesthetic; quick and easy installation using a nail gun to fix Mosaic cavity battens and panels; and pre-primed panels requiring only two coats of exterior grade paint.
