Introducing the new Care Plus tapware range, an innovative mixer range designed to target the healthcare and aged care industries, where evolving regulations demand specific requirements for health and hygiene.
With laminar flow as standard, the Care Plus range enables added infection control in hospitals and aged care environments, to reduce the risk of legionella and potential bacterial growth and exposure within water.
The option of care handles enables ongoing adaptability in a care environment, improving adaptability and flexibility, which is especially important where updating rooms to suit specific induvial needs, both time and cost-effectively. The range also features increased indicator size across all standard and care handles, improving the versatility of the range for commercial care requirements.
Key features of the Care Plus mixers also include flexible, soft PEX hoses ensuring superior durability and ultimate flexibility for easy installation; and ergonomic extended lever handles on the Care mixer versions ensuring smooth handling and comfortable use, specifically by those with limited hand dexterity as well as young children and the elderly.
The mixers also feature a 35mm adjustable cartridge for added temperature and flow control; while the Silicone aerator prevents calcium and limescale build–up for easy maintenance.
Setting the benchmark for water sustainability, the basin mixer features a WELS 6 star rating, ideal for commercial applications. While the Sink mixer comes with a WELS 4 star rating. The range also includes a shower mixer as well as four optional handle options – standard or care handles with hot and cold (red and blue indicators) or warm and cold (yellow and blue indicators).
The Care Plus mixer range is recommended for hospital, health and aged care facilities, offices, hotels, sporting amenities, public venues, shopping centres and restaurants. The Care range is compliant with AS1428.1-2009 amd.1 when installed with the recommended Caroma Care basins.
The Care Plus mixer range also comes equipped with a 10-year Caroma warranty for both residential and commercial applications
