C.R. Laurence Australia introduces five new locking ladder pulls featuring design characteristics that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (A.D.A.).

C.R. Laurence specialises in engineering quality architectural solutions that help architects, contractors, and installers create buildings with a blend of aesthetics and real world functionality. CRL’s understanding of the importance of effective operation for the end user, including individuals protected under the A.D.A. has resulted in the new line of locking ladder pulls for all-glass entrances.

Designed for improved operation by individuals with disabilities, CRL’s new locking ladder pulls feature an alloy 316 stainless steel construction, and a smaller diameter housing that gives them a contemporary minimalist aesthetic while providing enhanced, specially designed A.D.A. compliant thumb-turn mechanisms.

Key features of CRL’s new locking ladder pulls include fully concealed deadbolts complete with 6-pin or 7-pin rim-type cylinders designed for easy re-keying or maintenance when necessary; design eliminating any bending or kneeling down to lock or unlock doors; readily available for immediate shipment in 48, 60, 72, and 84-inch sizes to meet strict architectural project deadlines; and custom sizes up to 120 inches and/or fully compliant configurations also available for special order.

According to Al Eini, C.R. Laurence Brand Manager for Commercial Hardware, CRL’s new quality hardware is designed to meet the requirements of new initiatives taken by architects to design more accessible commercial buildings. He adds that the new locking ladder pulls enhance overall function from the strategic placement of the locking mechanisms to convenient maintenance features with their minimalist, modern designs maintaining striking aesthetics.

Staying with CRL's commitment to maintaining the industry's highest standards, the new locking ladder pulls are thoroughly tested in the company's ISO 9001:2008 certified facilities to 100,000 cycles to ensure long-term durability and operation.
