Several stainless steel fixtures from Britex were supplied for the new CSL Behring facility in Broadmeadows, VIC.

Designed by A5 Architects and built by Monaco Hickey, the $40 million project required various stainless steel fixtures to be specially fabricated and installed at the facility.

Britex project manager Scott Fowle worked with the building contractor to manufacture and install specially fabricated stainless steel fixtures for the project. The Britex team also collaborated with the architect, providing consultation on fabrication design methods that met the strict guidelines required for this highly controlled sterile environment.

Britex’s scope encompassed generating shop drawings, consultation in fixture design, manufacturing each fixture, project managing and coordinating the production of fixtures, and installing the fixtures on site in conjunction with the primary contractor.

Stainless steel works and fixtures for the project included stainless steel joinery, garment cabinets, process sinks (grates), protective clothing dispenser, wash basins, coat hooks/ shoe racks, shelving and benching, and work station and PC cupboards.
