Brintons Carpets introduces The Curator, its sixth Axminster Carpet
collection designed in collaboration with Stacy Garcia.
A contemporary take on a classic design, The Curator imbibes influences
from the arts and crafts motifs, and menswear foulards and plaids to Eastern
culture.
Designer Stacy Garcia explains that The Curator is characterised by an
eclectic and eccentric design offering with a well-travelled appeal. She adds
that Brintons’ technical expertise helped her incorporate depth and detail into
the designs when working with Axminster, achieving authenticity and character.
The latest Axminster Carpet collection contemporises wonderfully
mastered traditional design elements through the use of colour, scale and
pattern play.
Brintons’ Design Director Nadia Burton comments that The Curator blends
historic textile influences with modern, contemporary over-dyed textures in
rich and quirky colour combinations resulting in a luxurious collection to
complement any installation.
Developed in line with current trends, the carpet collection will inspire
designers for years to come, says Burton.
