Altair louvre windows from Breezway have been installed in a newly rebuilt modern home in Sydney.
Once a modest 60s bungalow overlooking the harbour in Sydney’s Five Dock, the retro family home was demolished by husband and wife team, Anne and Michael Potter to be rebuilt into something that would cater to the whole family.
Their modern version of a retro home incorporates Breezway Altair louvre windows to provide a comfortable environment and unobstructed views for the whole family to enjoy.
An interior designer by trade, Anne Potter was actively involved in creating this unique home alongside architectural firm Utz Sanby Architects. The open plan design creates a comforting sense of spaciousness with hints of Mondrian inspired colour to bring it to life.
Architect and Director Kristin Utz from Utz Sanby Architects states that Altair louvres were used ‘for assisting in cross ventilation and allowing hot air to escape at a high level’.
