Bosch Blue Power Tools introduces the new GBH 18 V-EC Professional cordless rotary hammer designed to offer tradesmen an excellent combination of power, weight and efficiency.
Featuring Bosch’s exceptionally efficient and durable EC brushless motor technology for longer lifetime, higher efficiency and more runtime per battery charge, Bosch Blue GBH 18 V-EC Professional cordless rotary hammer offers best power-to-weight ratio in its class with a compact and lightweight design.
Equipped with Bosch’s Electronic Motor Protection (EMP) to protect the motor against overload and ensure a longer lifetime, the Bosch Blue 18V cordless rotary hammers offer flexible three-mode hammering for drilling, hammer drilling and chiselling functions.
Powered by Bosch’s EC brushless motor, the GBH 18 V-EC Professional ensures top performance with every application. The EC motor is remarkably efficient, enabling tradesmen to work longer per battery charge compared to conventional DC motors. The motor is also dustproof, durable, compact and entirely maintenance-free with its high efficiency reducing heat loss and overheating.
All these features put together ensure a longer lifetime for the GBH 18 V-EC Professional cordless rotary hammers than power tools with conventional motors. It can also hammer up to 115 holes in concrete (6 x 40 mm) with only one battery charge and achieves single impact energy of 1.7 joules.
Bosch’s brushless EC technology makes the hammer very compact and lightweight. Weighing just 2.6kg, the hammer can be used easily overhead and in tight spaces or hard-to-reach places. It also features an integrated LED light for working in dark spaces.
The GBH 18 V-EC Professional cordless rotary hammer is compatible with all 18V Bosch Premium Lithium Ion batteries from 1.3Ah right up to 4.0Ah. Bosch premium batteries boast a long lifetime thanks to Bosch’s Electronic Cell Protection (ECP), which safeguards against overload, overheating and deep discharge.
