Bosch Blue Power Tools introduces a new range of rotary hammers designed to deliver superior power and performance with extremely low vibration.

Bosch Blue’s new GBH 2-28 DBV Bulldog Xtreme Max rotary hammer can handle some of the toughest worksite applications with a powerful 850W motor for best-in-class power performance ratio, high drilling capacity (28mm) at 40% faster speeds than competitor models, and 3.2J of impact energy operating at 20% higher than other hammers in its class.

The new rotary hammers also feature Bosch’s innovative counter-balance vibration control for the lowest hammer vibration levels in its class, improving comfort for all day drilling and chiselling. The counter-balance technology works by elongating the air cushion between the piston and the striker to dampen vibration levels created by the striker’s ‘backstroke’. Bosch’s SDS-Plus tool holder is also provided for sturdy control and extended lifetime.

To be launched in the market in November 2013, Bosch Blue’s GBH 2-28 DBV Bulldog Xtreme Max rotary hammer is packed with ‘best in class’ features that allow tradesmen to work with more power and for longer by reducing vibration, thereby minimising fatigue.

Bosch Blue’s GBH 2-28 DBV Bulldog Xtreme Max rotary hammers also feature Bosch’s Vario-Lock for chisel rotation into optimum working angle; SDS-Plus tool holder for sturdy control; improved soft grip for all day applications; overload safety clutch to help minimise torque reaction; 3-mode operation for hammer drilling, chiselling or drilling only; metal gear housing for superior lifetime and durability; rotating brush plate for equal power in both forward and reverse motions; variable speed trigger for accurate bit starting; flexible lead to prevent cable breakages; and hammer hook for quick and easy tool storage.
