Blum Australia has declared AWISA 2012 a success after demonstrating its range of new releases and existing products at the show, held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 11th to 14th July, 2012.

The company reports that over 1,200 attendees visited its stand over the four days of the show. Many returned for a second and third look at Blum's brand new smooth drawer runner system MOVENTO, SERVO-DRIVE uno, and TANDEMBOX antaro.

Visitors were also provided with an opportunity to interact with a functional presentation of DYNAMIC SPACE, which helped visualise the end user impact of incorporating the concept into the design process.

Blum Marketing Communications Manager Alicia Draper explained that "acting out the movements that take place daily in the kitchen with the aid of the voiceover was an interactive, fun way to engage our audience with the DYNAMIC SPACE topic."

"It really gave our customers a great understanding of the concept and how our research and development can help them to design functional quality kitchens," she added.

Also on display was Blum Australia's brand new, ultra smooth MOVENTO concealed drawer runner system, which has been specially designed to handle the high demands of everyday use. The company advises that it is the perfect solution for timber drawer construction when the runner system is required to match the beauty of the furniture.

The MOVENTO concealed runner system creates many exciting design options including:
  • low opening forces
  • improved sag values; and
  • synchronised smooth running action in combination with BLUMOTION.
Blum Director - Sales and Marketing, David Noakes, said that AWISA 2012 was a terrific success for Blum.

"We were well supported by our authorised distributors Wilson and Bradley and Lincoln Sentry, with both partners incorporating a wide range of Blum products and machinery. Overall I am exceptionally pleased with the response we had to our display and we now look forward to AWISA 2014," he concluded.
