The Australian Glass & Glazing Association (AGGA) have announced the appointment of Nigel Carpenter as Executive Direct-Elect.

Nigel Carpenter joins the AGGA following three and half years at the Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV) as Membership and Marketing Manager.

Prior to his role at MBAV, Nigel Carpenter held senior positions within several companies including Boral Concrete, Carter Holt Harvey Corrugated Packaging and Feltex Carpets, where he was successful in increasing income and developing a customer focused culture.

According to David Perkins, AGGA Board Member, Nigel Carpenter’s broad experience is a great asset to the association and will assist with the advancement of the glass and glazing industry.

Nigel Carpenter has proven that he has both the knowledge and experience to effectively guide a business to achieve its organisational goals. His experience will lead to a significant growth in subscription income for the AGGA, ensuring the Association’s long term viability.

Ian Koochew, Current Executive Director, will continue to be involved with the AGGA albeit in a different capacity. David Perkins says that the AGGA thank and recognise Ian for more than fifteen years of his service to the Association and their members. They expect to see Ian involved with the grass roots of the association for some time to come.

According to David Perkins, Nigel Carpenter’s skills and energy are a perfect fit for the AGGA as they look forward to a new era in glass.
