  • Workshop at the rear of the loading bay/drop-off area
  • Ramped pathway from the street frontage to the front entry doorway, separated from the driveway

The Ella Centre Dimentia Day Care Centre’s design by Filmer Architects required disabled access to comply with Ashfield Council’s Accessibility Development Control Plan 2007 and Australian Standards AS1428.1–2001 (Design for Access and Mobility) and AS2890.1–1993 (Parking Facilities) guidelines.

The disabled access design negotiations and disabled access assessment report for The Ella Centre Dimentia Day Care Centre provided by Australian Disabled Access Consultants ensured compliance with:

  1. The guiding principles of the Disabilities Discrimination Act
  2. Ashfield Council’s Accessibility Development Control Plan 2007 disabled access and wheelchair access design guidelines; and
  3. Australian Standards AS1428.1 and AS2890.1 disabled access and wheelchair access design guidelines
