Kingwood composite timber profiles available from Australia National Building Material Pty Ltd. were used as external shading and cladding at McDonald’s new restaurant located at Puji East Road, Tianjin, China.

Kingwood’s range of different composite timber profiles was used to replace the traditional timber-look shading and cladding used in current McDonald’s designs to deliver great advantages such as low maintenance, light weight and easy installation.

Kingwood composite timber profiles were used in external shading and cladding applications, replacing the traditional McDonald’s wall designs. Kingwood profiles were also used as external slabs in a feature wall.

The BKI-06 slab and KKI-01 were used as individual battens fixed on to a supporting frame with an aluminium bracket. Additionally, the shading profile, QBI-41 shiplap with Kingwood external clip system was used.

The builder was extremely satisfied with Kingwood’s technical and customer service.
