Au.diSlat linear timber slat modules were installed at the new Emanuel Tsardoulias Community Library in Dulwich Hill, NSW to provide acoustic control.

The newest addition to a fast growing community in Dulwich Hill, NSW, the Emanuel Tsardoulias Community Library was designed by architecture firm, Tanner Kibble Denton.

Atkar’s custom designed fire rated Au.diSlat ceiling panels were used to provide acoustic control throughout the children’s area in the library. The custom application featured these panels in a cheerful Dulux White and Corn Bread 2-pack 30% gloss paint finish.

Atkar’s team of experts worked closely with Tanner Kibble Denton to customise Au.diSlat panels around the light fittings and AV equipment, providing a functional and aesthetically pleasing result.

In an acoustical application, separate prefinished Au.diSlat timber slats are mounted in a modular panel array, which is treated with Atkar’s Integrated Acoustic Backing (IAB). Suitable for both contemporary and traditional interiors, Au.diSlat panels create a distinctive 3-dimensional effect.
