Perforated timber panels from the Au.diPanel range by Atkar were specified by the architect Baldasso Cortese during the renovation of St Monica's Middle School in Moonee Ponds.
The school went through a modernisation project to optimise the learning environment and bring it up to its full potential. Designed to accommodate 170 students, the flexible floor plan allows the space to be segregated into six acoustically separate home group areas.
Au.diPanel, a perforated timber panel from Atkar was selected for the application in Spotted Gum.
The project was a winner at the 2012 CEFPI Awards Victorian Chapter in the Best Renovation category.
