ASSA ABLOY received the Construction Brand Award in the Red Dot Awards’ Brands and Communication Design category, 2019. Awarded by an international jury, the Red Dot prize recognised ASSA ABLOY’s well-designed brand communication.

“There has been a clear standardization of both the brand identities and the product design. The result is a consolidation of the brand, achieved through reducing the number of initial brands and creating a visual link between the various brand areas and the many products,” the Red Dot Awards website stated.

The ASSA ABLOY branding and design team together with colleagues around the world have succeeded in making ASSA ABLOY “a brand that is perceived by customers at all contact levels as being contemporary and inherently consistent today”, Red Dot noted.

Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot says the awards are “a testament both to their convincing performance and to the quality and design leadership of their brands. Anyone who succeeds in such a strong and international bunch of competitors deserves to be proud of themselves and of their achievements.”

One of the world’s largest design competitions drawing more than 18,000 entries, the Red Dot Award is a well-established international platform for the evaluation of design.

ASSA ABLOY received its certificate at the awards ceremony in Berlin on 1 November, 2019.
