Insulated panels from Askin Performance Panels were considered up to the task for a new food storage and processing facility in Queensland.

Lang O’Rourke and Space Frame Buildings chose Askin insulated panels when they were designing the new Q Catering food storage and processing facility at the Brisbane Airport in Queensland for Qantas. Askin products supplied for the project included XFLAM, EPS and PIR panels.

Askin’s long term partnership with Bluescope Steel also allowed them to offer Qantas an insulated panel with anti-bacterial skin. The panel is made using COLORBOND steel with Permaguard coating featuring Microban antibacterial technology to actively reduce the risk of cross-contamination in the food processing and storage facility.

Askin was also a preferred supplier thanks to its locally owned and manufactured insulated panels.
