ARDEX Australia has announced a new range of crack and spall repair adhesives for home and industrial applications.
Crack lines in walls and floors not only make homes, garages or industrial workspaces look worn out but are also difficult to repair with significant time lost in preparing the surface and mixing repair compounds, followed by application and curing.

The ARDEX RA crack and repair product range comes with a unique cartridge and disposable nozzle system that mixes two separate and inert adhesive compounds in perfect proportions for immediate application. A thermal chemical reaction between the two compounds drastically reduces drying time, taking 20 minutes to two hours at the most to dry completely, rather than days. Minimal surface preparation is required prior to application; on application, once the crack repair solution is fully cured, it is twice as strong as concrete, ensuring a permanent repair job.

ARDEX RA 88 multipurpose epoxy repair adhesive
The perfect tool for any home DIY repair job, ARDEX’s new ARDEX RA88 is a non-drip, non-sag ceramic blend epoxy that can be used for all crack repair purposes - inside, outside, walls, floors and roofs. The multipurpose high performance epoxy repair adhesive dries and sets within a quick two-hour timeframe, and is ideal for fixing cracks, lines or holes in concrete, brick, stone or metal; installing anchor bolts; or repairing wobbling towel rails. The new epoxy is also moisture insensitive and can be used on both damp surfaces and under water.
ARDEX RA 54 fast setting flexible polyurea joint sealant
Formulated to solve all crack issues in high foot traffic or heavy duty traffic areas, the fast setting flexible joint sealant offers rapid cure properties, allowing the repaired surfaces to be trafficable within 90 minutes, and minimising disruption time. The self levelling, low viscosity system can be used within industrial floor applications receiving heavy duty vehicle traffic, sealing joint widths up to 1.9cm, and also protects joint edges from spalling due to wheeled traffic.
ARDEX RA 56 low viscosity rigid polyurethane crack and spall repair
The new ARDEX RA 56 low viscosity rigid polyurethane crack and spall repair is the ultimate tool for time-sensitive repair needs. Its super low viscosity allows the filler to penetrate and fill interior and exterior hairline cracks to produce a high strength bond, which cures within a surprising 20-minute period. When used on its own or with aggregates added to produce a mortar for cracks or spalls, the rigid polyurethane sealant perfectly repairs cracks and spalls in floor joints and concrete edges, high traffic areas, floor areas prior to floor grinding/polishing, parking lots, concrete bridge locations, and industrial grounds receiving heavy duty vehicle traffic.
