The Vantage range of high performance windows and doors from Architectural Window Systems was specified for a beautiful home situated on the canal’s edge along the Gippsland lakes in Paynesville, Victoria.

Designed by owners Rudy and Chris Roep, the spectacular home, Driftwood Close features aluminium joinery from AWS’ Vantage range, installed by LEGG Windows & Doors to capture a view of the water from every window in the house.

AWS’ Vantage series of high performance windows and doors was selected for the project. The MAGNUM range, which incorporates a 102mm frame profile, allows for larger window sizes to maximise the views.

Driftwood Close features a modern open plan design with a white and grey exterior to create a sense of tranquillity and wellbeing. The beautiful views are captured via 37 Vantage windows and doors installed throughout the home to not only allow plenty of natural light in the living spaces but also to ensure energy savings with the use of energy efficient glass in the windows, most of which are double glazed.

The Series 616 awning and casement windows have been tested for compliance with the relevant Australian Standards, achieving a very high water resistance of 1000Pa. DStacker sliding doors were used to provide a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor living areas - a popular trend in modern homes.
