Aquabocci presents the R-47 threshold drain designed to offer extreme precision,
high functionality and excellent flexibility in any installation. The channel has
an open side entry point that allows the water to be carried from the door
track into the drainage channel.
Aquabocci’s R-47 threshold drains feature an EPDM silicone sleeve
connected to the side entry point of the channel while sitting below the door track
extrusion. The EPDM silicone sleeve acts as an extra water barrier and allows
the drain system to fit any threshold thickness while maintaining a flush
finish at the surface level between the floor tiles and the grate.
Danielle Zandonardi, ESA Architects, London comments that the R-47 threshold
drains are very flexible in application. She explains that the R-47 fits any
door thickness, is easily cut to length on site, and is available in a wide range
of standard colours.
