Gas Alarm Systems, a subsidiary of Alvi Technologies , have launched the Nitrous Oxide Gas Sensor/Transmitter for continuous monitoring of toxic N2O.
The Nitrous Oxide Gas Sensor/Transmitter is designed to monitor N2O in the range of 0 – 2000ppm.
The transmitter housing is made of ABS Material (impact resistant, flame retardant), IP 65 and comes with splash guards for protection against water and dust.
The Nitrous Oxide Gas Sensor/Transmitter gives out linear analogue output signal 4-20mA, which can be connected to a PLC, SCADA or Gas Alarm System MGC Gas Controller for alarm generation. The Nitrous Oxide Gas Sensor/Transmitter works on 24 VDC.
The Nitrous Oxide Gas Sensor/Transmitter will find wide application in hospitals, laboratories, gas filling or gas storage areas. Further, it can also be used in hospitals (anaesthesia rooms) in ICU or Operating Theatres.
