Alvi Technologies  introduces the FB39 flow measuring devices designed to measure the flow of aggressive liquids and gases by differential pressure.

Designed compactly, the FB39 flow measuring devices consist of a plastic orifice plate and a flange-connected flow transmitter without moving parts. Wetted plastic parts are made from PP or PVDF depending on the media.

Their ability to withstand aggressive media allows the use of FB39 flow measuring devices in water treatment, wastewater treatment and electroplating applications.

The FB39 provides a flow proportional output signal (4-20mA 2-wire) and is optionally equipped with a display and switching contact.

Consisting of an orifice with differential pressure tapping holes, the metering section is grouped together with two pressure sensors and the electronics in a joint housing.

The flow-dependent differential pressure arising at the orifice is measured by the two pressure sensors and converted into a standard electronic signal.

Chemically-resistant plastics are used to build the components in contact with the measured medium while the pressure sensors are made from pure ceramic, enabling their use in plants with aggressive media.

Key features of FB39 flow measuring devices:

  • Robust design
  • Resistance against aggressive media
  • Measuring cell made from 99.6% AL2O3 ceramic (coated)
  • Compact design
  • No moving parts
  • Rated IP65
  • Measuring range of up to 40m³/h
  • Flow-proportional output signal
