The key to Allweld Industrial Ladders' success is the quality and strength of their products. From the large reinforced checker plate platform, to the smallest component on the ladder, all material used is high quality and built to last.
The Ladders are all fully welded. There are no pop rivets or ‘punck lock systems’ and the material used is high grade and thick walled aluminium. Welding is carried out to AS/NZS 1665:2004 and the ladders are designed and constructed in accordance to AS/NZS 1892.1:1996 pt1.
Folding platform ladders are available from two to eight steps. Castors are an optional extra. Spring loaded castors operate the two, three, four, five and six step platform ladders.
A new lever castor system has been developed for the seven and eight step platform ladders. This gives far greater stability than spring loaded castors on these large units. The lever system is also available on request for the six step platforms. The lever castor system is simply operated by the operators' foot, but still allows the platform ladder to be folded for storage.
Wall brackets for stowage of the ladder, clip on loading trays and additional handrails are all available as accessories.
