Record Automated Doors recently installed UMU switchable privacy glass for the main meeting room at the Attorney General’s building in Canberra. Measuring 2.7m high and 12m wide, the wall of privacy glass provides instantaneous privacy when required.
This electronic smart glass was wired into the room’s audio visual control system, meaning the glass could be easily switched between clear and translucent without the user having to leave their chair.

For greater noise reduction the UMU switchable privacy glass in this application is part of a double glazed partition, with clear laminated glass in the inner panel. Following installation, a stick on decal was applied by the client.
