AFS Logicwall was the product of choice for Queensland builder Indigo Building Group to meet the deadline on the apartment project at 47 Hood Street, Sherwood.

Confident about Indigo Building Group’s reputation for quality, the new owners of the property were not surprised by the building’s finish; however, what thrilled them was the speed of completion with the builder beating the deadline by more than six weeks.

Having utilised Logicwall from AFS Systems Pty Ltd (CSR) on an earlier project, Indigo Building Group knew it would provide walling to complement their 5-storeyed prestigious apartments. However, even they didn’t expect the greatly accelerated floor cycles that were possible with Logicwall.

AFS Logicwall was used for the lift and stair core, party walls, external walls and balustrades.

David Hunt, Director, Indigo Building Group explains that they have used the AFS Logicwall system across two projects, with a third and fourth currently in design. Logicwall was chosen for its load bearing structural capacity, speed and cleanliness on site, as well as reduced site waste.

The accelerated floor cycles meant Indigo Building Group stayed well ahead of their project program, handing over the apartments to the occupants a month and a half earlier than scheduled.
