The use of AFS LOGICWALL from AFS Systems for the walling of an apartment project in Franklin ACT has helped the builder speed up construction without compromising quality.
Zest Apartments offers 78 units in a mix of one, two and three-bedroom configurations. Given the large number of walls involved, Geocon chose AFS LOGICWALL for all internal and external walling as well as AFS REDIWALL for the lift and stair walls, and the basement retaining walls below ground. Geocon also trusted AFS to supply the walling system on time.
The 78 units were completed in just 9½ months with Geocon crediting AFS walling systems for the quick construction.
According to Damian Rumball, Project Co-ordinator, Geocon, AFS LOGICWALL was used for the external walls and internal partition walls while AFS REDIWALL was used for the basement walls on the Zest Apartments project.
Stating that the use of LOGICWALL and REDIWALL systems was responsible for the ease and speed of construction, he added that AFS always met their delivery dates and were very helpful, from detailing shop drawings to delivery on site.
