ADM Instrument Engineering introduces a new range of pressure transmitters from ESI designed to meet the requirements of industrial pressure measurement applications where a hygienic flush diaphragm connection is needed.

Particularly suitable for use with high viscosity materials, ESI’s PR3850 pressure sensors find application in food processing, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, waste water and slurry handling sectors.

Featuring a stainless steel construction, the robust pressure sensors incorporate the latest strain gauge technology, together with a custom IC amplifier for excellent stability and accuracy over a long service life. The flush membrane is easily cleaned for long term reliability and excellent performance.

Key features of ESI’s PR3850 pressure sensors include stable and accurate output signal of 4-20mA with options for 0-5Vdc, 0-10Vdc, 0-20mA among others; detachable DIN connector used for the electrical connection allowing easy access to zero and span adjustment; standard process connection of 1/2” BSP, with optional 1” BSP and 1/2” NPT male flush diaphragm process connections; pressure ranges from 0-4bar to 0-400bar; and optional weldable boss ensuring flush-face installation to tanks and pipe-work.

An optional IECEx certified version of the pressure transmitter is available, approved for explosion protection for flammable gases (zone 0), dusts (zone 20) and mining areas (group I M1).
