Ports provide the most punishing environments for drainage systems. Busy maritime operations involve the movement of very heavy vehicles as they load and unload containers. Their repetitive nature imposes severe stresses on flat apron areas that are difficult to drain.
Aurecon specified ACO’s monolithic drainage system, with built-in 0.5% slope to provide an efficient means of managing the stormwater at the Hutchison Ports Container Terminal.
The robust single piece construction of the HighwayDrain HD200 eliminated concerns of components vibrating loose due to frequent traffic.
