Several products from ACO Polycrete including access covers, cable enclosures and grated trench drains were specified for Terminal 2 at Perth Airport.

Terminal 2, Perth Airport is a newly constructed building to cater for the city’s increased demand for regional flights servicing the mining sector. Its gates are leased by Virgin Australia, Tigerair and Alliance Airlines.

Large pavers were selected for the plaza in front of the terminal and tiles for its internal areas.

To allow access to the building’s cables, ACO’s Rhinocast cover and frame systems were specified with stainless steel decorative edges, providing an attractive restraining edge for the ceramic tiles and preserving the visual continuity of the gridded walking surfaces.

In addition to Rhinocast access covers with stainless steel decorative edge, Hassell Architects also specified ACO Access galvanised steel access covers, ACO Cablemate trafficable enclosures, and ACO Drain grated trench drains.
