Global design practice Gensler has just appointed workplace design expert Cathy Jameson as the newest design director, bringing additional capability to the team.

Sydney studio managing director Tom Owens says of the appointment, “I’m excited to have Cathy join our team here at Gensler. She brings with her an incredible passion for design and mentorship which aligns perfectly with the culture of our office and firm. Her expertise and leadership in large scale workplace design will greatly contribute to the continued growth and success of our Sydney practice.”

Jameson joins the studio from Geyer, with over 20-years’ of diverse experience including 43,000sqm of new workplace across Sydney and Melbourne as part of NBN’s 2020 Workplace Strategy, high-end legal workspaces for King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra and the new 12,000m2 headquarters in Sydney for Allianz.
