Harrison brings to his new role considerable experience spanning 25 years in strategy, public policy, design and delivery in transport, infrastructure and smart cities. He was previously with WSP, where he led the smart infrastructure practice, focusing on the convergence of technology, data analytics and digital operations in transport, energy, water and the built environment.

His impressive career graph also includes leadership roles in the public and private sector, such as national lead partner - transport at Deloitte and chief architect for Sydney’s rail operator. In Harrison's new role at Arcadis, he will integrate the firm’s design, planning and digital expertise to deliver innovative solutions for building liveable, sustainable and connected places.

“I am looking forward to working with Arcadis to support clients in realising their potential in transforming infrastructure delivery and operations. I’m extremely passionate about using technology, innovation and data-driven insights to better connect people and places," he says.

“As our cities continue to grow, new challenges emerge so it’s more critical than ever that we embrace digital disruption and smart design to create better places for people that ultimately improve their quality of life.”
