Another wave of residential tower development is set to hit Brisbane’s Kangaroo Point.

Brisbane firm, NRA Collaborative have submitted a proposal for four new residential towers on a large 6,172-square-metre site located within the vicinity of three separate apartment projects by Bureau Proberts and a 20-storey residential tower by A+ Design Group.

The proposed development, called ‘River & Main’, is also located immediately adjacent to the Woods Bagot-designed Banyan Tree Residences development on a site boarding River Terrace, Paton Street and Main Street in Kangaroo Point.

River & Main will cover 41 per cent of the site area, equating to 2,544 square metres dedicated to communal recreation space. The development includes 318 resident car bays as well as 40 visitor car bays. Large landscaped rooftop terraces with pools, barbecue facilities and other shared recreational spaces will be provided in each tower.

Each of the four towers will also feature a unique architectural style, which the architects plan to achieve through the choice of materials and their application to the building facades.

Despite being developed by Ozcare, no aged care facilities are being planned for the development.
