The upcoming ROB|ARCH 2016 conference aims to provide a platform to discuss cutting-edge robotic technologies with application for the design, architectural and creative industries.

Being held in Australia for the first time, the robotic conference will feature a series of workshops where delegates can engage with live robots and observe robots working with each other. The conference will be a meeting ground for architects, artists, designers, fabricators and industry leaders while presenting an interactive environment for researchers and industry to exchange expertise, explore methods, compare techniques and forge new connections.

Hosted by The University of Sydney in collaboration with The University of NSW, Bond University, RMIT, University of Technology Sydney and Monash University, ROB|ARCH 2016 will advance the discourse surrounding robotic fabrication and creative robotics towards the integration of human-robot interactions informed by sensor input and real-time feedback in diverse environmental conditions.
