The Architects Radio Show is calling for support as part of the 3RRR annual radiothon, noting public engagement with architecture and the built environment has never been more important.

Over the last eight years The Architects Radio Show has sought to advance architecture by broadcasting on Melbourne 3RRR (102.7FM and www.rrr.org.au).

The production can now recount hundreds of shows, guests, ideas and conversations about architecture, urbanism and sustainability.

It is possible to subscribe - to ‘The Architects’ - online or by calling any day this week.

RRR is a non-profit community radio station that relies on the voluntary efforts of its broadcasters, including us. Every year it seeks to raise enough money to keep the station running out of its studios in East Brunswick.

RRR receives no government funding, and allows us to bring architecture to a wider audience.

To support the station subscribe to The Architects by calling in on 03 9388 1027 or at http://www.rrr.org.au/radiothon

The radio show heads off to Venice to participate in the 2012 Biennale of Architecture from next week, which will be the first live show from overseas, as we broadcast from Venice on RRR.
