Oakstand has released 18 luxury apartments at Narrabeen Beach, Sydney.

Setai, the Japanese word for 'home by the sea', is one of the last remaining new beachfront properties in Sydney.

The two- and three-bedroom home-sized apartments offer an average sized living area of greater than 170 sqm.

Currently under construction, with completion estimated in mid 2012, Setai has been designed by Gartner Trovato.

Apartments feature wrap-around balconies, outdoor areas and landscaped gardens designed by Jamie Durie.

Setai occupies part of the former site of the Narrabeen Sand's Hotel.

It includes a range of environmental features such as east/west facing apartments and wide frontages, providing excessive natural light and cross flow ventilation, and the provision of large stormwater holding tanks for toilet and irrigation uses.

The development has achieved an energy efficient star ratings of 7.5 stars as measured under the building energy rating scheme.
