Amber has extended its range of ceramic tile flooring to include engineered and laminate timber floors that have been specifically designed to reduce installation times and offer superior wear qualities.

The engineered flooring comes in a selection of hardwoods - Kempas, Brushwood and Tasmanian Oak - and is constructed from a combination of hardwood surface and engineered plantation timber layers.

Available in a choice of tongue and groove single, double and triple strip formats it is delivered prefinished with seven layers of tough, but flexible, scratch-resistant UV sealer and lacquer that creates a hard, durable barrier that will retain the original finish of the flooring far longer than conventional finishes.

Installation can be carried out over existing flooring and/or where height is restricted. The tongue and groove edges are simply glued together. Because all finishing is done in the factory, the floor is ready to walk on as soon as it is laid and there are no strong, lingering fumes from sealers and finishes.
