Engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services company GHD announces the appointment of Damian Drain as Defence Infrastructure Manager.

Drain previously held a senior project management and delivery role in the Department of Defence. A civil engineer who served in the Australian Army for 23 years, he brings diverse skills to his new role including infrastructure planning and delivery, strategic planning and complex project management. Drain will be based in Canberra.

Ken Snell, Defence Market Leader explains that Drain’s appointment reflects GHD’s commitment to their Defence clients and also brings additional depth to the organisation’s multidisciplinary team. He adds that GHD continues to grow their business in the Defence sector, building on their experience in delivering a variety of innovative infrastructure solutions, including major capital works programs.
