Smeg has released its large capacity, 60 cm multifunction oven.

It has a cooking capacity of 68L, a one-step enamelling process that gives an instant clean, silk-line finish, interior steam clean, staggered shadow-free illumination and an intuitive cooking control system.

The Linear SA112-8 offers more than 20 per cent extra cooking space over traditional 60 cm ovens, which means the oven can cook numerous courses simultaneously and cater for large groups.

Its steam clean function enables just a small cup of water, placed in the indentation on the oven floor, to moisten and lift burnt-on food. This, coupled with the silk-line surface of the interior enamel, negates the need for catalytic liners or the use of harsh caustic abrasives.

The SA112-8 also includes a control panel that suggests temperatures, cooking times and shelf positions for standard recipes such as meat, fish, chicken and vegetables.
