A group of Melbourne interior design professionals has formed Design Aid to provide an opportunity for the industry to help victims of the recent bushfires in Victoria.

Officially launched at DesignEx, Design Aid is a register of architects, builders, carpenters, interior designers, gardeners, landscapers and other associated trades who are willing to volunteer their expertise and consulting time to helping with redesign and reconstruction.

Professionals will be asked to donate consultation time which may include the creation of concept schemes to suit budget, one-on-one design/building consultations in Melbourne or rural Victoria and panel discussions in rural locations.
