The headquarter of Zurich Group was inaugurated in 2009 in the heart of Milan.
The imposing high-tec building, designed by the architect Alessandro Scandurra, has received great attention.
The interior design was made by Italian architect studio DIGIT & Associati, who chose Bolon's flooring 'NOW Silver' for the more than 20,000 sqm office area.
"DIGIT & Associati was in charge to project the interior of the building including reception, restaurant, gym, training area and all the office areas. The task was to create an open and flexible office, but still with an easy and personal atmosphere," Scandurra says.
"We wanted smooth surfaces and colours, and a floor that could be something between a carpet and a smooth vinyl floor: Bolon was the answer. I came across Bolon collections several years ago through the Italian distributor Liuni, and my first project with Bolon was the WPP Group office in Milan 2004."
Bolon will arrange a special guided tour of the Zurich Italia office for architects during the Milan Design Week.
