The Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV) is organising a new CPD seminar on building compliance issues in Melbourne next month.

To be held on 6th June 2016, the CPD seminar is recommended for all building designers, draftspersons and various building practitioners with the information designed to help participants protect themselves from potential liability, given the increasing prevalence of non-conforming and non-compliant building materials.

The CPD seminar is presented by Jarrod Edwards, the Director of Technical and Regulation at the Victorian Building Authority; and Dr Jonathan Barnett, Technical Director at RED Fire Engineers.

Building industry stakeholders from across the entire spectrum including multi-residential, non-residential or domestic projects will benefit from the seminar as it will help them ensure that their documentation and/or specification meets legislative requirements.
