The Barbicania screening is being organised at the ACMI, Fed Square as part of the Open House Melbourne Weekend.

Barbicania is a feature length film capturing a month-long immersion in the life of London’s Barbican Centre and Estate.

Through a series of vignettes, Barbicania invites the audience to discover the personalities and architectural landscapes that make London’s Barbican so special, from the top floors of the towers to the underground levels of the art centre.

To be held on Sunday 26th July from 7.30pm at the ACMI, Fed Square, the Barbicania screening will be followed by a panel discussion exploring Brutalism, the Barbican, and vertical living from a local perspective.

The panel consists of Clare Cousins (Clare Cousins Architects); Mark Raggatt (Ashton Raggatt McDougall); and Louise Mackenzie (Cinecity).
