Architeam’s first CPD session for 2017 aims to educate and inform architects about various aspects of the copyright law pertaining to architectural practices.

The CPD ‘Don’t Go Wrong With Copyright’ will provide an overview of key concepts of the copyright law relevant for architects including ownership of copyright, protecting copyright, dealing with copyright, clients and copyright, infringement of copyright, and architects’ moral rights.

Using case studies and practical examples relating to architecture, presenter Nathan Webster (Legal Counsel at Australian Copyright Council) will help architects gain an understanding of how to protect their intellectual property; learn their moral and legal responsibility to clients; and discover ways to safeguard their designs and plans.

The CPD session will be held on Thursday 16 February 2017 (6.00pm for a 6.30pm start).
