In 2020, Tony Rouady and Kim Regler founded Network Architectural. A subsidiary of Network Building Supplies, NA works directly in conjunction with architects supplying built environment professionals with facade and ceiling solutions.

The company is constantly looking to innovate, with many of their products utilised for major projects. Network Architectural supplied aluminium cladding for NSW Parliament House, to fireproof and ensure the safety and longevity of the institutional building. On a grander scale, Network’s Mitsubishi Alpolic was used for the facade of the Lennox Head Cultural Centre (pictured above), outlining its qualities as a salient and suitable facade for large buildings.

Its projects like this that make Network Architectural’s solutions ideal for buildings that typically take out the Sustainability Awards’ Commercial Architecture (Large) category. Eligibility for the category is simple, asking for a Class 5, 6, 7 or 8 building used for professional and / or commercial purposes of over 500sqm in floor size.

In terms of sustainability, Network is intent on ensuring its footprint remains at a minimal capacity throughout all of its operations. Through supplying premium products, Network is inherently sustainable, with the entire facade and ceiling catalogue durable, versatile and sustainable.

In regards to the category, budget isn’t an issue nor a requirement. We value projects of all shapes and sizes, providing they’re over that 500sqm threshold. Given the physical magnitude of the buildings nominated, it's important these commercial spaces hold the wellbeing of both their occupants and the environment in the highest regard, with the esteemed jury looking for trailblazing projects that may well prove the catalyst for wider industry change.

2022 is the year the Sustainability Awards comes back as a physical event (we hope). We can’t wait to see you, and furthermore, the projects, people and products nominated and eventually awarded and celebrated. Entries are open, we’d love for you to submit yours here.
