Maxton Fox manufactured and supplied a broad range of office furniture for the new workspace designed for the staff of Road and Maritime Services (RMS) Central NSW.

Having worked in two offices in Simmons Street and the Wollundry Chambers for many years, 200 RMS employees have now moved into the Morgan Street premises in Wagga Wagga, allowing them to work more efficiently and collaboratively together in the same building.

Designed by GHD Woodhead, the RMS workspace provides co-workers and management a suite of sharing facilities, a variety of desk space in a mix of team desks, meeting rooms, stand-up meeting tables and sit to stand workstations, multimedia rooms along with brainstorming areas. The office fitout delivers a modern ABW (activity based working) environment with the best available technology and flexible work conditions.

Awarded this extensive contract, Maxton Fox worked with the design and building team to manufacture Leader workstations, Arina meeting chairs, Puffy occasional chairs, Puffy ottomans, Kontakt tables, banquet seating, custom timber boardroom table, custom upholstered lounges, and custom wall panelling.
