Maxton Fox developed a suite of furniture and joinery for the new Camden Council administration building in Oran Park, Camden.

Servicing one of Sydney’s fastest growing suburbs, Camden Council has consolidated into a single civic facility as part of a centrepiece and focal point of Oran Park Town Centre. Designed by GroupGSA and built by ADCO Construction, the new $35.6-million building accommodates the needs of a growing Council so that it continues to deliver quality services to the community.

Completed in 2016, the Council’s Administration Building has a floor area of approximately 6,000sqm, and houses a customer service area, council chambers, central atrium, administrative offices and a car park.

Maxton Fox was engaged to design and develop a suite of furniture along with key bespoke joinery elements. Maxton Fox worked very closely with the GroupGSA architect and the ADCO team specifically from a joinery perspective, with colour matching and veneer selection required regularly throughout the project.

Products supplied by Maxton Fox for the project included banquet seating, custom joinery, reception counter, wall panelling and lockers.
